The Thomas Beaver Free Library has recently included a new program designed to improve the lives of adults in our community! Through English and Adult Literacy Partners, we can offer adults free tutoring to improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills and offer English as a second language to those who are in need. Students will receive the materials they need free of charge as well.
The program is primarily staffed by trained volunteer tutors committed to providing an hour and a half of instruction twice a week. Tutors will receive training and materials needed for tutoring free of charge.
If you have any interest in participating in this program as a student or a tutor please contact the Library Director, Kathleen McQuiston by calling 570-275-4180 ext. 101 or by emailing her at TbflDirector@ptd.net.
