Join our all new no-cost STEM night!
Join us for STEM Night at The Den on the first Thursday of each month at the Thomas Beaver Free Library.
Grounded in the open-ended, exploratory, and curiosity-driven spirit of our Learning Den homeschool co-op, this monthly evening gathering extends that same creative energy into an accessible after-hours format. STEM Night is open to all. You do not need to participate in The Learning Den to attend.
Each month features a focused scientific theme. This month, participants will explore electrical engineering through guided circuit investigations. Families will build simple electrical pathways, test connections, revise designs, and observe how energy moves through a system. The emphasis is on investigation and understanding how things work.
Activities are created with elementary-aged learners in mind, while remaining welcoming and adaptable for older and younger participants. Children and caregivers work side by side, creating space for collaborative experimentation, creative problem-solving, and meaningful connection with other families.
No fees. No registration. Simply drop in during program hours and take part.
