Danville Heritage Festival always inspires folks to do some research on Danville history. Old newspapers are a great way to learn about local history. Gain hands-on experience searching the Danville Morning News, Danville News, and the Daily Item online from 1894 to the present at the Thomas Beaver Free Library.

There are lots of great events during the Danville Heritage Festival. One of our favorites is local historian John Mazich's presentation of historic photos of the Danville area.
